Boston Consulting Group (BCG) consulting network

12 sourced findings across the business, its work and the recruiting evidence.

Read with the right scope

Each finding has its own source and scope. A group-level statement may not describe a particular office or role. Openings and deadlines may have changed since this 2026-09-25 snapshot; check the employer’s current careers site.

01

What the company does

2 findings

The Boston Consulting Group UK LLP is registered as OC359103. Boston Consulting Group Limited (The), registered as 00958970, is separately listed as an active person with significant control of the LLP. The registry does not say which entity would employ a summer intern.

Scope: UK legal registrations and LLP control, not global group consolidation or internship employer

The eligible public records point to a management-consultancy business serving public and private clients: the UK limited company has management-consultancy SIC 70229, the UK LLP is on a government consultancy framework and named in HS2 spending, and Reckitt names BCG as a partner on marketing AI pilots. The sources do not show the network's fee structure or the LLP's audited revenue mix.

Scope: UK registry and procurement identity plus group-branded client example; no consolidated financial claim
02

Teams and structure

2 findings

Public examples span public-sector operating-model design, transport-programme transformation and consumer-marketing AI pilots. That breadth suggests several advisory capabilities across the BCG brand, but the sources do not assign the work to named UK practice teams or to the same legal entity in every case.

Scope: Named client and government examples across 2024–2026; UK practice taxonomy unverified
04

The work

3 findings

Slough Borough Council says its 2025 operating-model context and target-operating-model appendices were developed with Boston Consulting Group. The council approved a broader transformation plan in February 2026 and says those changes are progressing; it does not identify BCG as the author of the whole plan or report a measured result from BCG's work.

Scope: Slough Borough Council client account of 2025–2026 local-authority work

The Department for Transport's April 2026 spending table records two HS2 Limited transactions to The Boston Consulting Group UK LLP, one labelled transformation for 17 November 2025 to 15 February 2026 (£1,762,974) and one labelled TF2 support for 27 October to 5 December 2025 (£733,848). They document supplier payments and project labels, not deliverables, profit, or outcomes.

Scope: UK LLP named supplier in HS2 Limited expenditure; spending transparency, not audited revenue

Reckitt says it and BCG ran four-month GenAI pilots across Gaviscon, Finish and the wider marketing function. Reckitt reported up to 60% faster concept development and about 30% less time for ad adaptation and localisation. These are client-reported pilot findings from 2024, not independently validated production outcomes or a 2026 UK intern assignment.

Scope: Reckitt's 21 June 2024 client release, group-branded BCG partnership
05

Direction and developments

2 findings

At Google Cloud Next '26, Google said BCG was expanding their partnership to support Gemini Enterprise transformations and broader agent adoption, and included BCG among partners offered early access to forthcoming Google DeepMind models. This is current, group-level technology-partnership direction, not proof of revenue, deployments, or UK LLP strategy targets.

Scope: Google Cloud's 2026 counterparty announcement; global BCG partnership

The 2025–2026 Slough operating-model engagement and HS2 transformation payment labels show recent UK public-sector demand for BCG-branded or UK LLP advisory work. They do not establish a firm-wide shift toward public-sector consulting or forecast future internship headcount.

Scope: Recent UK client and transparency records; demand examples only
06

Risks and constraints

3 findings

The UK government's modern-slavery registry records a statement from The Boston Consulting Group UK LLP covering 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, approved on 28 May 2026. The organisation marked all six recommended subjects as covered; the registry states that optional questions may go unanswered. These disclosures are self-reported and do not independently establish how effective its controls are.

Scope: UK LLP's statutory modern-slavery disclosure summary for the 2025–2026 period

An Upper Tribunal tax decision dated January 2026 names The Boston Consulting Group UK LLP among parties to an appeal concerning the income-versus-capital treatment of partnership interests. The saved index establishes the dispute and subject matter, not the final liability, appeal outcome beyond this decision, or any effect on consulting operations.

Scope: UK LLP legal-risk context from official Upper Tribunal decision index

Companies House lists full UK LLP accounts made up to 31 March 2025 as filed on 4 April 2026, but the captured filing index contains no financial statements. The modern-slavery summary's self-reported turnover band above £500 million is therefore not an audited LLP revenue number and cannot support a group financial-health conclusion.

Scope: Financial-evidence limit for UK LLP and BCG group

Evidence gaps

  • businessNo eligible captured audited UK LLP accounts, group consolidation document, global revenue breakdown, fee model or definitive US ultimate-parent record. Companies House filing history gives filing date only; BCG-hosted accounts are excluded and its PDF was blocked by robots.
  • teamsThe public procurement lots and client examples do not map actual UK consulting practices, geographic staffing, or how general consulting, technology build and internal functions are organised. No eligible source places summer interns within a team.
  • differentiatorsExternal client and technology partners support a strategy-plus-AI capability mix but no comparative win rates, proprietary advantage, BCG X legal scope or London specialist-team placement. The OpenAI partner announcement failed local acquisition with HTTP 403.
  • workSlough's linked appendices, detailed HS2 deliverables and contract terms, and Reckitt production outcomes are not in these eligible pinned texts. The council and Reckitt do not name a BCG contracting entity; no source connects any project to a summer intern.
  • directionGoogle's 2026 partnership statement and recent UK client examples do not supply eligible 2026 BCG group or UK LLP earnings, a quantified strategy, a current pipeline or internship-capacity outlook. BCG-hosted global results releases remain model excluded.
  • risksThe UK LLP's full audited 2025 accounts, complete modern-slavery statement, full Upper Tribunal judgment and any later appeal status are absent from eligible pinned text. No inference about financial solvency, tax liability, effectiveness of supply-chain controls or current misconduct is supported.

Questions to verify

  • Can the Companies House 2025 UK LLP accounts be captured from an eligible official filing document endpoint to verify UK-only revenue, risk disclosures and ownership relationships?
  • Which BCG legal entity would contract for and employ a London Summer Associate, and will an eligible native 2027 requisition confirm the application window and live form?
  • Which named UK practice teams carried the Slough and HS2 engagements, and what deliverables or outcomes can the clients independently substantiate?
  • What is the complete procedural disposition of the January 2026 UK LLP tax appeal, if material to the dossier?
